What is Runner's Points?

Runner's Points is a running loyalty program that lets members earn points by making running purchases and everyday shopping purchases through our extensive retail network. Members redeem Runner's Points for discounted and free running gear exclusively with the Runner's Points running store network. Runner's Points is completely free to join and use.

How do I join Runner's Points?

It’s easy to join. Simply visit one of our participating Runner's Points running stores and make a purchase. Then log into your Runner's Points account online and start earning even more points.

Is Runner's Points free to join?

Yes, Runner's Points is completely free to join and use.

Do I need an email address to join?

Yes, to earn and redeem Runner's Points and access the Runner's Points website you will need a valid email address.

How do I log into my Runner's Points account?

Once you’ve made a purchase at a Runner's Points running store, you can then access Runner's Points through your running store website to activate your registration. You can then log in to your account using your email address and the password you created.

How do I earn Runner's Points?

There are several ways to earn Runner's Points. The first is simply to make purchases at your Runner's Points running store. Additionally, members can earn tons of points by doing their everyday shopping with our network of non-running store merchants. These merchants can be accessed through the Runner's Points website.

Earning Runner's Points through the Runner's Points website:

  1. Browse. Browse hundred of retailers and offers. You can browse via the navigation on the Runner's Points website. In the search bar simply type in a category, website, merchant name or keyword to find merchants and offers. Additionally, you can search by category drop down menu and by an alphabetic listing of all of the merchants.
  2. Shop. Review the merchant’s offers, click on the name of the merchant for details and then click the "shop now" button to go straight to their website. The site may ask you to login so we can make sure you receive points for each purchase. Buy your items as you normally would. The price of the product on the retailer’s page will be exactly the same as if would if you’d gone there directly.
  3. Earn Runner's Points. Once you have made a purchase, we will track the amount of points you are due. After a few weeks this will show up in the "My Account" section of the Runner's Points website.

How do I find out the size of the point reward being offered from each business?

Participating businesses choose the amount of points per dollar spent that they will award for purchases you make with them. These offers range from 2 to 33 points per dollar spent. On our site, these offers are displayed next to each business listing. The point amount of the reward is equal to your purchase amount multiplied by the points per dollar spent that merchant is offering. For example, if you made a purchase of $50 at a business that offered 5 points per dollar spent, you would earn a reward of 250 points.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can receive a reward from a participating business?

No. However, some of our businesses will offer a special deal for your first purchase. After that first purchase, you’ll receive the everyday point reward each time you visit the merchant.

How can I redeem my Runner's Points?

Once you have earned 2,500 points, we will email you a reward certificate worth $25 off your next purchase at your Runner's Points running store. Just show that certificate (either printed or on your mobile device) when checking out at the shop, and your discount will be applied to your purchase.

Is the Runner's Points site a secure website?

Absolutely. When you enroll or access your account information, you are communicating with secure web servers protected by GoDaddy, the largest provider of website security. We use state–of–the–art encryption software (SSL) to protect all of your information before you send it to us and before we display it back to you. Also, all of the personal information and purchase data we collect is protected from unauthorized access.

What if a reward has not posted to my Runner's Points account after a reasonable amount of time?

Wait no more! If you've not seen your reward post within 35 days of your purchase, contact us by sending an email to Runner's Points team via . We’ll need a proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or an order confirmation email. Once we’re able to validate the purchase, we’ll issue your reward manually.

What assurances do I have that my personal information will be kept private?

Our business depends on our ability to protect your information and keep our promises to you.

  • We will not resell any information, including your name, to any third party.
  • The GoDaddy seal certifies our identity and our ability to encrypt data collected during the enrollment process using SSL technology.
  • Our technology practices meet or exceed the standards set by Visa, MasterCard and others in the payment card industry for the secure handling of cardholder information.

How do I unsubscribe from email?

As a member of Runner's Points, you will receive two kinds of emails. Promotional emails are designed to help you get the maximum benefit from your membership, and will often communicate special, high value point offers that our members find useful. To unsubscribe from these emails, click on the link at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future mailings.

We also send our members administrative emails. These are emails that are essential for our members to receive for them to participate in program, and include emailed point redemption certificates, emails to help your reset your password, responses to your customer service inquiries, and so on. The only way to unsubscribe from administrative emails is to cancel your account by sending a request to do so to our customer service team.

Will my Runner's Points expire?

If the Runner's Points program is terminated, we will provide a period to allow you to spend your points on goods and services. After this period has expired, your account will be closed, no further redemptions will be possible and any residual Runner's Points balances will be cancelled. The period will be made clear on the Website at the time of any decision to terminate or suspend the Runner's Points.

We reserve the right to terminate any account that has been a Dormant Account for a period of 18 months or more. We will make every effort to contact the account holder, via their nominated email address, to notify the account holder that their account is at risk of termination through inactivity. If a reply is received confirming that the account is still active we will continue to maintain the account. In the absence of a satisfactory response, the account will be terminated, and any Runner's Points balance cancelled.

Are Runner's Points paid on the full amount of my purchase?

Unless otherwise stated, points are only paid on the purchase price, excluding tax, and delivery.

How do I update my personal settings?

Go to the "My Account" page in your home page and you will be able to update your personal settings.

How do I close my account?

We hope you would not want to leave us, but in the sad event of you wishing to do so, please contact the Runner’s Points team. As we take feedback from our customers very seriously in order to continuously improve our service, we would be grateful if you could include your reasons for taking this step.

Best Practices

Tips for earning Runner's Points:

  • Always login first and start your shopping by clicking on the merchant’s link.
  • Make sure your cookies are enabled and pop–up blockers are disabled.
  • Your computer and Internet browser must be configured properly. Ensure to run your computer with latest software updates and service packs.
  • Temporarily disable pop–ups and enable javascript in your browser.
  • Anti–virus software and Firewalls are known to obstruct affiliate links. Your firewall must be enabled for cookie tracking. Ad and cookie blocking must be disabled to allow us to track your transactions.
  • If possible, use a dedicated browser for all your shopping, as you would have to do all the settings once and never worry about it later.
  • Don’t use any voucher codes.
  • This includes email vouchers, TV and radio promotional vouchers, newspaper vouchers etc. Using third party codes may void your Runner's Points earnings.
  • Try to complete your purchase in one sitting only. Using a saved quote or shopping from previously saved shopping carts may invalidate your point earnings. If after checkout you want to continue your purchase from the same merchant, close the browser, return to the site and start a new session by clicking the merchant link.
  • Don’t open too many website tabs in the same browser as it may seriously affect transaction tracking.
  • If you experience problems in online transaction and opt to call the merchant to complete the order, your points earning could be affected. Please refer to retailers terms and conditions.
  • Never mix products with different point earning rates within the same purchase as the retailer will track everything at the lower rate.

There are also certain things you can set up in your web browser to improve tracking. The settings below are the default settings for your browser, so it is unlikely that you will have to make any changes.

Enable Cookies: Go to Tools – Options – Privacy. Then please change your settings under History to Remember History.

Enable JavaScript: Go to Tools – Options – Content. Then please ensure Enable JavaScript is ticked.

Disable pop–up blocker: Go to Tools – Options – Content. Then please ensure Block pop–up windows is not ticked.

For Google Chrome Users:

Enable Cookies: Tools – Options – Under the Hood – Cookie Settings. Please change to Allow all Cookies.

For Internet Explorer Users:

Lower Security Level: Go to Tools – Internet Options – Security. Please lower Security level to Medium.

Lower Privacy Settings: Go to Tools – Internet Options – Privacy. Please lower the Security Level to Low.
